So I finally got my green terror and silver datnoid to get along, but now there's a new problem. The dat was only fed live foods at the LFS and I'm trying to ween him off of them (yes I had a thread about it in the datnoid section). The problem is that my 4 rainbow fish have dropped to 1 rainbow fish in two days. One completely gone, one just dead, and the last one decapitated. I know it was the dat. My question however, is are there any fish that I could keep with them now? A fish or few fish that wouldn't get pushed around by a green terror, and wouldn't get eaten by a starving datnoid. Anyone?

maybe try some silver dollars but I notice this is a 55gal, so I would leave it as it is...

larger dithers like silver dollars, etc.. really all you want is a fish that will fall in line behind the GT, yet not get eaten by the Dat. The second part of that is easier to figure out than the finding something the GT gets along with. Just try some good sized/non aggressive fish and see if it works out.

Even better get the dat on prepared for a little while before adding more fish.

I probably will get a 75 this summer. But I shouldn't go bigger than that because of where I live. Anything besides silver dollars?
