Alright gang, time for something to finally happen to the CRUD TANK. Losses: 1 Bass, 1 Bluegill 1 The largest Warmouth. I was hoping they would pull through( caught on Friday)

The tank was in disarray. I thought everything would be fine, with the lights off for 2 days. I though gives the fish time to heal. Here is a pic of that picturesque moment you have seen:

The sticks are torn apart, 2 large limbs are moved slightly in the tank too. The algae is turning the faded green(told you, it didn't like to be moved)

The fish are all over the tank. The Warmouths stick together except for the smallest. Here comes the drama!!!

The Green sunfish(freshly denounced Boss of the tank) tries to chase off bluegills which are all on the left side of the tank. The green gets too close to the Warmouths and he accidentally charges them. REALLY BAD IDEA!!! They all flare at chase him and 3 of the bluegills do the same. So the green hides in between the big limbs.

The bluegills as a group try to bully the warmouths. The warmouths make the blues back down. Here is the twist: The smaller warmouth(all by itself) is charged by the dominant bluegill and defends itself well 3 times. Then the blue tries the small warmouth again. The warmouth flares and charges and is stopped cold by the largest recently added blue gill to the tank at 6 inches long, with a half inch wide head.

The wamouth flees to the others. They eventually kick the small one out. The small one is challenged again by the smaller bluegills. It starts to win and then the big bliegill comes to the rescue. The Big blue then decides to challenge all the warmouths and loses 2 times. Third time forward the Big Blue wins. All the squabbling has stopped. I thought okay it's over!!!

WRONG!!!! The catfish charges at the few remaining branches and pushes until they start bending and takes them to the top of the tank. Then the catfish starts swimming fast all around the tank charging any fish in the way. One had a delayed reaction and the catfish was at the fishes' tail. Then the cat slowed and charged again. Every fish including the Big Blue was moving. This went on for awhile. Then I gave the fish food.

The catfish always waits patiently for it's food to come to it. This time as soon as the first pellets hit, the catfish was at full speed, taking food as it swam. It would not allow the other fish to eat until it was through.

The cat periodically kept charging the fish. I believe the cat was still believing the bluegill that kept attacking it's tail was surrounding it. Every since that happened to the catfish it always would wave it's tail back and forth and then mildly charge with mouth open at some of the fish if they did move.

My thoughts. I think I am going to rearrange the tank. Come on 300 gallon tank!!!!

Why watch TV when we can read LOL,sorry about the losses.Natives are really quite fascinating fish to watch and instead of the Blue Angels you have the Bluegills.

Great battle commentary  Native fish are notorious squabblers over territory even in lakes etc. but in the confines of a small glass box there isnt far to run, so if they can see each other, they cant resist the constant show of force.

Cool looking tank

Wow. Well-described. Poor catfish. I'd rearrange like you said, and try to dull any sharp sticks that could stab your catfish.
