Pond scum is correct. It is the stuff that gets stuck on lures and baited hooks. I decided to put it to work. I will uncover my favorite driftwood piece in the middle "Tree Beard." I wanted to let the fish recover from the stress of being moved. A few of the fish have been eating.

I believe it's hair algae. Jade Gobies eat it, and I'm sure plenty of other fish do too. I hope it works out in your tank. It already looks nice. :)

haha! i like that ^_^ looks neat hope it works out

Minus the gushing oil spill? :D

Your tank looks great to me! I hope it flourishes nicely! Keep us posted. LOVE PICTURES!

very unique and DIFFERENT I like it alot!!!! :headbang2 What are you stocking it with?

Thanks Mrwinkle! I was proud of that tank for 1-2 days. I don't like it anymore. I have destroyed it. I am going to look at the tank tommorrow. I have blue-gill, pumpkinseed and maybe a green sunfish(not a hundred percent sure) When the mud was clearing, 3 of the fish started coming to the glass and 2 would slide right back into the cloud. The other one just watched me. The fish are hitting the food as soon as it hits the water. The pumpkinseed chose a spot in the big driftwood and ambushes food as it passes and goes back in the wood. Mrwinkle, I had planned on using the 300 gallon for unusual fish but I think the NATIVES have claimed the big tank. Those fish have so much personality and spunk!! Just add catfish and a few warmouths and the tank will be done!!!
