The three daemon juvies are starting to grow up a little bit - especially what I assume to be the large male. He's almost as big as George now, so he's growing fairly quickly (then again, George is the slowest-growing fish I have ever seen). Unfortunately, he's way too shiny and getting good photos of him is quite difficult, so for now you'll have to settle for half-assed pictures of him.
Anyone know if there is an "easy" way to sex these guys? I'd like to figure out what sexes they are now that they're starting to get bigger. From watching their behaviour and the way they interact with each other, I'm thinking the guy in the photos is a dominant male (he's much larger than the other two, and definitely rules the trio), and I think one of the others may also be a male (the dominant big guy doesn't seem to like having him around much, keeps him at a distance most of the time), and the third may be a female (big guy does like having her around, keeps her close most of the time, and she's the only one who doesn't have a missing chunk of dorsal like the big guy in the photos).
