I was planning on using one of my three 3 gallon Metframes as a dwarf puffer tank, until Friday... I've had my eyes open for these for a year or so and finally found them. They are in no way monster sized, but they certainly have monster color. Anyways, here are my new Dario dario. they are vicious planaria terminators, though. I don;t think there are any left in the tank. There are still a few nematodes left, but probably not for long.
Acclimating in a bucket. My finger was on the water's surface, just to give you a size comparison
Newly introduced male
Female
10 minutes in the tank and she swallows a blackworm whole...... At least feeding isn't a problem. The worm was twice the length of her body!!!
One of the males, gaining more confidence
Colors are definitely intensifying.
