A few of you guys have been hitting me up to see what I've been up to. I took a break from FW and have been messing around with reef tanks. Here's a teaser shot of my SPS reef in the making...

Yup. Or "sticks" as I like to call them. And as far as inverts go, there are a lot more than meet the eye in the pic. I've got a cleaner shrimp, coral banded shrimp, tiger pistol shrimp, a bunch of snails (turbo, margarita, nassarius), and a bunch of hermits. As far as fish go, I've got a pair of Percula clowns, a mystery wrasse, and a Yasha goby. Ill take some close up shots tomorrow!

Looking good! How strong is your lighting and what type? Time for some corals! If you're new to reefing I'd recommend a nice bird's nest acropora or some capricornis montiporas to start. Also, my meteor shower monti has grown like crazy under both power compacts and LED, so it might be a good coral to start. You won't be waiting forever to see growth!
