Finally I am going to go pick up my oscars.

I have already received my red oscar from Melbourne yesterday (Will post pics up of them together). I am now going to go pick up my orange/yellow albino oscar.

question:: I dont want my oscars growing up hating each other. SO i was wondering, if I could an extra oscar (so 3) and all like 1 inches... can I see which two of them stick together, and return the other one?

Is this ok to do? Thank you. soo excited! woke up at like 7am on a Saturday here in Australia!

If they are young and small, and you raise them together, chances are they'll be okay with each other. You often run into problems when introducing older fish, or when you have one fish for a while and then introduce a new fish into its territory. The best option is to add them all to the tank together at the same time so that you have a level playing field.

Being cichlids, no one can really promise that they'll all get along. Having said that, you stand a much better chance of them tolerating each other if you introduce them all as juveniles.

Good luck!
