Hi,
Yesterday i was doing my weekly clearning of my tanks and it went all wrong, i broke one of the sliders and the sump on my 280gallon tank,this is how it happen, i took out the slide and left standing up against the wall next to the tank(one of the stupidest things i have done
) it fell down and hit the sump and broke.
Lucky i had a spare sump from my bro's old tank laying around so i used that and for the slider i use a sheat of 2mm plastic that i also had laying around.
I happy to say that this morning there was no dead fish laying on the floor
and that plastic did the job
As for the sump it seems to working ok.
The clean up was not very good but, there was water everywhere
Well things happen for a reason, now i got to build a bigger better sump
so its all good
