Anheuser-Busch bought the Rolling Rock Brand. They are going to shut down the Latrobe Brewery and and start making it in NJ. The thing is that A-B loves to mass produce and mass market, I would bet my vas deferens that the quality will suffer. Latrobe uses glass lined tanks to keep that metally taste to a minimum. Actually, Budweiser doesn't have that metally taste either, it has no taste at all. Rest in Peace Old Latrobe.

From the back of every Rolling Rock bottle: "From the glass lined tanks of Old Latrobe, we tender this premium beer for your enjoyment. It comes from the mountain springs to you." "33"

I will miss a great beer.

Rolling Rock trivia: Did you know that Rolling Rock is only 3.6% alcohol? It's not about the buzz, it's about the beer. Going to buy a twelve pack tomorrow, before the evil empire destroys a great product.

Our beer is 5.5%

it would be funny if you lost the bet. I'd love to see your vas get repoed:ROFL:

Everytime I tried RR it had a bit of a skunky taste to it. Oh well. Don't really drin AB or RR so I guess I'm good.

rolling rock ain't bad but it has quite a bit of aftertaste, no skin off my nose, just don't touch guinness

if you lose that bet, i want pics

come to think of it, almost all beer packaged in green bottles seem to have a bit of an aftertaste.

The I wouldn't need to worry about an infestation of mini-wurms at my house.
