haha yeah that would make sense... well i took advice from alot of our ray experts here. I brought my "active" fish back to the store. so 2 apollo sharks and 4 gouramis were kicked out. i changed half of the tank to the best substrate on earth (eco-complete amazon). the ray hides here during the day. if you look at both setups, the first one is much more heavily planted with a huge piece of driftwood in it. i removed that to make more room. there is alot of space for the ray to move. when he gets bigger, I'll move things over to the right more so the middle and left side of the tank are open. I got a new monster filter. the new fluval fx5. it's a beast. so now my water is much softer and from all of my research, it fit's the rays and the SA fish perfectly now. i spent a ton on this.
brotha, you see pikes in your sleep. haha, I wouldnt have even known you could see it in this picture. you have special powers of pike vision i think... special peanut powers. I think it's just about full-grown. he plays well with others too, i love this fish. (but if I see him even look at my stingray the wrong way, he's following the gouramis and apollo sharks to the fish store)
