Hi fellow stingray lovers!!!!

So I've finally gotten to save up (or atleast) be free from this recession, and I'm looking to buy my 1st pair of black motoros!! (I used to own a leo-or so i think it was a leo), in my teens to twenties, but had to let him go and move to another country, and well now, I can finally get a pair!

So my question is; what's the noteable difference between leos, henlei, and BD---obviously the price--but are there other differentiating factors? I see henleis that are "brownish" but I'm guessing its only because they haven't fully developed?

Oh also, since I only have enuf money for a pair, and from what I've read, I know/heard that keeping just a pair isn't ideal coz the male will harass/rape the female like no tomorrow, so I was thinking of keeping a normal brown/blue motoro female in the lot-would that do? would he even touch her? Are there any normal motoro x Leo (post pics if possible), that have occured?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I'm only planning to buy a leo pair hehe

which rays do you want as in your 1st coment you say black motoro and they are not black at all

you will be looking at us$800-1200 for a leo or henlei much more for a BD and

black motoro are much cheaper but they are not black just like blue motoro are not blue

Hehe. Sorry for the confusion, I was so used to calling them black motoro's back in my teens (I think it's more of a lost in translation thing going, or that the internet wasn't up yet!). I'm looking to grab a pair of leopoldis/p13s (I used to have 1 leo).

henlei are not as black
leopoldi all depend how much you want to pay

you get what you pay for now with leos

black diamond BD are way over priced

hmmmn, It's hard for a newbie on leo's to know "u get what you pay for". That's like paying for a knocked off (fake) prada shoes, when you never heard or know what prada is.

So what determines a good leo from a bad leo? Is it the number of spots, the blackness of the disc, the size? etc?

Sorry for so much questions hehe

what determines a good leo from a bad leo is the owner. if you like the spotting on the ray then i would say thats a good one but if you dont like it well lets just say you shouldnt buy that one. people have different tastes in rays buy what you like.

Hahahahahaha

Fortunately, leos aren't made in chinese sweat shops the way fake prada is.

Are you sure? like mike said (from h20 aquatics) "BD's just came off the ban and now, there's a ton load of bd x leo"

I'm guessing the china farms might already have employed "shooters" much like the horse shooters.
