Also, it looks like the water is crappy in the 2nd picture but it's fine (just tested it), the bluriness is a combination of algae and of me using my cellphone instead of my Nikon.

Thanks everyone, I switched it over because I thought it looked washed out on sand, he looks nice and dark now on black gravel
