Very interesting, knew aro's were popular in the east, but not this popular. Gives a great overview of how this market has evolved, the players, and the dynamics of the breeding and trade in aro's.
It's available as a kindle book as well

Just got the book, Im about 60 pages in and I love it. I recommend this to all fish keepers not just arowana fans. Its interesting so far. What a awesome book. I like how its told from the perspective of someone with no background in fish or fish keeping.

At the end when you finished the book, you will realize how stupid is human being are. Many stupid people out there kills these great fish. People getting kill over fish, stealing even big businessman will paid big money. Addiction is true, real fish keeper addiction is worst than drug.

I agree. It's really amazing how we humans have wiped out so many different species of animals with no repercussion and continue to kill the planet. It's a sad story
