While climbing Mount Washington in NH this week I finally saw and photographed the elusive Alpine Tuna!
I also saw this fish... I am not sure it has been described yet. It looks to be a cross between a bill fish and a paddle fish. Could a fish be both modern and ancient at the same time? And with an alpine ecosystem requirement... it might be quite rare!
