Hey all!
I was just looking at pictures of my new 65gal, back when I first acquired it, and scrolled through to catalogue its journey (I’m kinda proud of it)!
The 65gal aquarium was purchased in bad shape beginning of November. It came with 3 epic driftwood pieces covered in huge anubias.

Sadly the anubias almost completely melted away in the next few weeks. Rhizomes were salvaged.

I added some of my easy-to-grow plants from my 75gal to liven up the wormy rhizomes & began my trip down the rabbit hole, purchasing small plants
(from a really awesome seller on eBay lol)

I broke down the tank and rebuilt it (changing to a sturdier stand, earthquake country).
In the process, I weeded out much of the “garden variety” plants and made room for anticipated plant orders...

...and the orders arrived!
