The tank starts out like this:

Then this happens (big leak):

Then you have an awesome T.blondi enclosure:

I used plants that I took out of the paludarium because they are growing so well they began to crowd each other out so I had to trim them (half of them probably won't make it since they are clippings). Once they have a chance to root and become nice and established, I will be adding a T.blondi to the mix. I will be posting an update in a week or two when that happens.

I had to sell them quickly when the tank busted. I had a FL gar, the orino you see there, and a massive royal clown knife. I miss them but I could not afford another tank large enough for them.

Very cool, Chris.

Make sure that you get a female T. blondi, though. Those suckers can get expensive at large sizes as I'd hate to see you drop a chunk of change on a big one only for it to be a male considering that males live maybe ¼ as long as females do.

Don't forget about their "wonderful" urticating hairs, high humidity requirements, & hatred of bright lights and all will be well!

Thanks Wiggles. This will be my third blondi- I am very familiar with this species. A spider friend of mine owes me so I am getting a big guaranteed female for free- I sexed the molt myself.

Okay, I am too excited to wait. I can't just sit here staring at this vivarium and not have something in it can I? I thought not.

She has 4 crickets in her mouth in this video. Should not take long for her to put on some more size.
