The Fish Place, North Tonawanda, NY

I'm considering stopping by there in the next couple weeks. But being an hours drive each way I figured i ask you guys and gals if you've had any expierence with this store. How is there fish selection?

recently declined over the last year. Will give you an oppertunity to see a nice cement 2000gallon tank though. Staff has gone down recently, less knowledgeable. id go early in the week give a call to the store and see when theyre getting their shipment in. +1 (716) 693-4411

I'll be sure to let you know, I think I'm going to go on Monday or Tuesday. As far as Niagara Falls, that's only 20 minutes away from me and so loses some of the appeal because of how often I'm there.

you must be in Ontario Canada... there is also a Ontario ny... i want to bring my camera for pics of it all... since i have never been there... thanks... let me know....

I was finally able to go there on monday. Overall I was very impressed, lots of tanks all of which appeared very well maintained. I saw a lot of fish I never find in my area or at prices that rival wholesale prices. Unfortunately I forgot to bring my camera with me.

The big display tank with larger monsters was a really nice sight.

My only complaint would be that the staff did not seem that helpful. The employee didn't even ask about the tank set up till after he had already caught the 4th lima shovelnose and I was asking to get the bigger one they had. He also didn't know what the fish were currently eating.

If your in the area it is definitely worth a visit.
