I finally was able to capture one of my gars yawning. I also took a picture of their tank mate a SAL around 25".

never had any problems with aggression. they get along with everything

great looking gars btw and the cichla are heavy! think a SAL would be ok with rays and polys?

Truthfully I think yes with the polys. Along time ago I kept my old one with ornate brichirs, and delhezi brichirs. Ive never kept rays so I cant answer that question.
