yea great last pics. i love these fish, but i think the pH they live in is too high
 
Those frontosa are happy in my tank and my ph is way low... like 6-6.5.. i know it's supposed to be closer to 8. Haven't had any problems yet..
 
i think you'll find there general health activity and most importantly colour would be better if they were higher...
 
The big guy is six inches.. bought him for 45 bucks about six months ago, he was about 4 inches then. The smaller ones are both 3-4 inches, but they were teeny-tiny when I got them for about 20 bucks a piece over a year ago.
I'll have a tank devoted just to the fronts soon.... then I can mess with the ph... for now i just keep the water clean and warm.
My tanks are overstocked right now.... so I do water changes like mad...
I hate living in a second floor apt...... No huge tanks allowed!
Can't wait to move.
