I never hear of any "fish shows" or whatever there called going on where I live in Maine. Is that a thing around here? Does anyone know hahah, I need fish friends.

The American Cichlid Assn just had its yearly convention in Springfield MA, sorry for the late news.
all my friends think I'm some sort of weirdo animal horder because I have a couple large tanks, the only other guy I know that likes fish as much as I do is my 80 something year old boss hahah. Although he does have some impressive setups including a 1500 gallon saltwater tank that I have the privilege to clean
There was a British Cichlid Assn gathering about 3 weeks ago in Coventry, I was in London at the time, but also missed it.
Slim pickings up this way. He did find our local, mostly online, fish club. It is mainly salty folks though.
Robert, who is your boss? That size tank is almost unheard of up this way. If you ever get into reefs, there is a nice fellow in Orono.
Boston is about 3-3.5 hours away for me, and Robert is another two hours north of me.
