Before Facebook? FB seemed to kill all forums in general. I hate FB because there is far more retard than forums.

I would say the days when the forum was most active, with the most traffic

It's interesting to go back to those old threads and see the advice that was being given. "Lots of hiding places and plenty of filtration " was apparently a magic recipe for keeping like 6 big central Americans in a 75 gallon.

The forum sort of had a downtick from 2016ish till 2018, but there have been major improvements lately. And as with most science based things, our attitudes and available info shift with time. A lot of advice given back then may be completely wrong versus what we know now.
