I started the hobby with a goldfish 5years ago in a 15g tank. Now I have a 125g sa cichlid tank, 55g sa cichlid tank, and a 30g goldfish tank. My wife won't let me get rid of it but its so boring!!! She hates all the fish but the goldfish. So anyway im wondering what else i can do to make the tank alittle better. Right now its 1 cory cat, 1 goldfish.

woo he's big. Well taken care of goldfish always look cool, just don't see many. I'm also a fan of natural/planted setups. As far as stocking, maybe a school of zebra danios or something else small and swarmy? I like danios because they never stop moving, but they aren't very colorful.

I had glowfish but the classic line what fits in there mouth they will eat took place :) I tried mollies but they nipped his fins.

Yeah tigers are pretty (have a school with my cichlids) and are big/fast enough to not get eaten but they are very nippy (ask my poor betta who escaped it's net box :(). Black skirts IME are more friendly, look nice, and are easy to care for. Temperature may be an issue, they're from the tropics, but they could handle mid 70*s. Come to think of it, I've seen people say danois can be nippy, but mine have never bothered anyone but themselves (8 in a 10g with a betta).
