The greatest steal!

So today i think we have have found the one of the greatest steals in a few months. We go to pet supplies daily to pick up feeders, so everyone there knows how many, of which ones, and how many per bag well every once in a while we find something odd.....like a few blue botia's that are big enough i can put in my tank and they can take care of my snail problem without getting eaten...for $2.49 each! Well, we had told the guy who always gets our feeders we want one of the blue botia's...he very stupidly asked "did you see a price?" and after we had told him no, he said with a straight face "so..., rainbow sharks?" gleefully we nodded yes to the $2.49 deal and said we will take them all! they are each 3+ in.

I wouldnt make fun of someone who knowingly gave you a deal, that happens quite a lot at smaller stores were you are a regular customer.

we wasnt so much makin fun but, he seemed serious that he didnt know what it was and at the same time, we appreciate it oh and the blue writing was a bit much i know...it just looked pretty

i got a school of cardinal tetras for 99 cents a piece a few weeks ago. i would feel guilty, but its a chain store. fwiw, i did ask the fish manager twice if they were neons or not.

i would personally jip major chain stores at all chances but the smaller stores would make me feel guilty.
