Around the corner
President Bush declared a national state of emergency on August 27. Once that declaration was made, why wasn't there at least the beginning of some kind of preparation of emergency services, whether it be the National Guard, the military, make- shift shelters, etc?

Kinda hard to get to the interior of the devastation when so many morons decide to stay there and make problems worse not to mention....people usually evacuate!! Besides....if they wanted to stay there so bad, let them live in thier own feces and survive. They didn't want the help in the first place, why should we give it to them for free now?? Insurance covers houses and most possesions but now we have to rescue the village idiots?? Nah...let them get deuced by mother nature, it was her intention anyways:)
