so i talked to my dad yesterday and he told me that my uncle is taking down my grandmas 240 gallon.my uncle is known to sell dead relatives things for quick cash and i wasnt letting this one go. so i talked to my dad about it and its almost cretin this tank will be mine, most likely free to, if its not free at most ill only have to fork over about 200 bucks. so i find out today if im getting it, he might be a **** about it and put a reptile in it, just to upset me.

lol, when he had it set up, it wasnt even half full, he was afraid it would fall through his floor.

thanks, forgot to mention, its coming with every thing, but the filter system on it is out dated, it uses two UGF's and a large H.O.B., any ideas on upgrading, im think using the 55 gallon i have now for a sump pump.

right now in my 55 gallon, i have three blood parrots, all are just over an inch, a peacock bass, about 4 inches now, oscar and jag that are three inches, and my afican knife, about 7 inches. i kinda new i was getting the tank about two months ago so i started stocking for it now, should have it in about a month. im just gonna put my fish now into it, maybe take back the oscar and bp's and get two more p-bass.

you have good taste in fish, with the pbass and jags...but why not keep the oscar and trade back just the blood parrots, and go with a new world cichlid theme

the oscar, idk about it, at first i liked them, but now im starting to not like them any more and i dont know why, hard to explain. i was thinking of adding a green terror to, i just saw a full grown one the other day and fell in love with it.

wish me luck guys. just talked to my uncle and he did say it was empty, he is still deciding what he wants to do with it. like i said, he is thinking of putting a reptile in it but i think i might of talked him out of it. its sad i had to mention that i would give him money for it before he got interested. so i should know in the next few days if its mine or not.
