This is the largest bluegill I have at 7 inches. This fish was never fast enough to snatch enough food, the warmouths etc... would grab everything before it could open it's mouth. So I had to make him look up and drop all of his food to him.
This fish watches me constantly, in all of the videos, you will see him looking straight 100% of the time. One day he did a head shake at me and I did it back. He looked like he paused a minute then shook his head again. Well needless to say, here is the bluegill shaking his head back and forth with me. There is a smaller bluegill below him starting to do the head shake also. He doesn't keeping doing it like the larger bluegill. These are the only fish to do this.
