So. About a week ago, I was scanning a sleeping tank with a book light to check up on everybody and maybe catch a glimpse of my shrimp, who hides all day. I found what I can only assume is some sort of slug or defective snail. I took a fairly crappy photo and went to bed. Come morning, it was gone and I haven't seen it since. So I named it Nessie, lol. Cheeky title aside, here's the only photo I have. Can anyone help me figure out what this is so I can find out if he's safe? I've googled it and got Nothing. I brought the pic to my LFS yesterday and they had nothing for me. Any sort of guess would be appreciated. If I see it again, I'll be sure to get another (hopefully better) photo. Thanks!

Oh one more thing: he's probably two-ish inches long.

Do you live near a nuclear power plant? J/K I can't tell what it is from that picture. Keep an eye out for it and see if you can get a better picture. I'm sure you're already doing that though.

I FOUND IT!!!!

I got home from work and scanned the tank with my book light and didn't see anything. My mom came in and was looking for my cardinal so I got up to show her his hideout and there he was! Just chillin on a rock! I handed her the light, grabbed my phone, and dug the rock out to take some pics. I can tell this: he's not poisonous, like a bristle worm and the little guy can cruise! He almost got away from me several times!

Well, here he is, I give you Nessie:
