Does anyone know where i can order a Retropinnis? Ive been after one for some time now, never even found them in stock.. liveaquaria has them listed but hasnt had them in over a year, and now knowing they are of a sister taxon to the rest of polypterus (or genetically should be i should say), i want them even more haha. Im located in western new york. any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Go to ebay. Type in bichir and scroll down. You will see the retro for 39.99 plus 20$ shipping. It also says it's wild caught.

We can order some for you.

that would be great! if you could message me an estimate that would be perfect. I'm still planning on picking up that gold dust Friday if the budget allows, but if you can get me a retro either baby or about 7 inches would be perfect, if its a baby I can grow out

i visited "The Fish Place" in Buffalo 2 Christmases ago and they had 2 or 3 available. Maybe you can ask them to order? Other than that, Jurassic aquarium and Toyin is you best bet.

I got mine from Jason at Aquatic Daycare in Oregon, not sure if he still has any. You can find him on facebook or I can pm you the #.

I asked last time I was there, they had delhezi endls and palmas but no retro and I am on the call list there if they get them in, they have a pretty legit monster tank w/ a few full sized silver aro and RTC. going to try to id the palmas, they were 25 so probably just palmas palmas
