There is this strange blind minded attitude I have been noticing from fish keepers ( not all, but many...ah you decide ) for a long time now.

If you are a thinking person, you would know that physically, no matter how long it would be around, be it decades, centuries and beyond...nothing is permanent.

Life is Growth, Growth is Life, the universe expands, life evolves...eternally changing, history has taught us this if you haven't noticed.

What I am emphasizing on is the attitude of a narrow minded influenced by what I don't know that if something is common, the animal is treated like crap.

He / She may typically say ,"dude that animal is so damn common in our place." Is your interest for animals pure? Do they mean truth and honesty that you view all life equally? That you have the strength and power to look through the eyes of that animal, through whatever physical form it is currently possessing to realize that that animal is no different from another?

That life is life, no matter what physical structure it is expressing on planet earth at this moment of Now. But you are shopping, it is ok if you desire an animal because you find it so attractive, so beautiful and its personality so desirable. No problem, but the problem is when you dislike one just because it is around you...so you are saying, if it is around you, you treat it like crap, if it isn't then you talk about how it is rare and how you wish it was in your country.

Why should such an attitude be taken as a honest desire? as a true Love? Have the strength and power to Love all equal. Everything is beautiful whether you see it or not, how you are able to connect to that beauty has a reason of your own, so when you say one is ugly, boring and another is rare and beautiful, your statement is not Truth, your statement is just an expression of yourself out of your own whatever reason.

See the Truth, Feel the Truth, Be the Truth.

See others as you would see yourself, treat others as you would treat yourself.

Before God, we stand all equal. Because we are all One.

Amen.

your right about the fact that life is life and animals should be treated with respect and care but what does god have to do with it?

That's where you miss the entire picture.

You remind me of bush and how he uses GOD to defend his arguments

I spoke about everything being connected, that everything is One, nothing is seperate from one another, so how could I be wrong to add God in my statements? How you see God or what comes to your mind when you read the word 'God' has your own reason, but I know what I meant.

And unlike Bush, I don't speak about making wars. And having thousands of innocents killed and houses destroyed for that purpose. I would die than to have that many die.

People are always going to want what is hard to get...

That is a fact of life.

I think I speak for most fish keepers on this site when I say that just because a fish is uncommon, we would treat it like crap :screwy:

So.... Should every one keep cheap fish and treat them like royalty? If it weren't for high end and low end anything nothing would exist. If all things were the same that would suck ass.

Thats like being mad about babe ruth and mickey mantle cards, gas powered rc's compaired to the corded version anyone could own, or a six foot apple smoker compaired to a kingsford, a 800 dobsonian telescope compaired to a lil moon finder.

Its what makes a hobby a hobby. The hope that one day you can have those items that exist only where the air is rare. The trend is spreading cruise ships now have the common fare folk eating/shopping/leasure, with the rich of the rich.

It gives the common man a place in a tough world thats so so fast. I feel you but there is never good without evil..... you know this!
