Talk about a suprise.....
Long story short I found a pup in my pond yesterday. Knew one of the rays probobly had to be preggo, but didn't think there was any way she was this far along, as she didn't look that big, but then again she is a monster sized ray. By the time I got a tank set up on the pond's system and found nets there were 3.
Mom is the big female I recently aquired from Duckman. The father is the male he had in with her, a JimR pup. Conception would have had to been sometime in January.
VERY happy to see the JimR genes being passed on, especially with one of the nicest females in the country. Pups should be crazy quality.
2 females, and a male. Started on crawlers today.
VERY excited to see them doing so well, especially after the way the last litter one of my rays had turned out so bad with all but 1 pup passing, then the mother a few weeks later.
Let's just hope they all continue to do well and everything remains trouble free.
Pics were a bit before thier first meal. Amazing how fat the lil buggers look.
