Im guessing that in pic 2 the tank was cycling compared to pic 3 and why do you have three heaters I use 1 300w on my 180g and temp is consistent??? Nice setup though...

the reason for three heaters is to heat up the water faster after water change than just one, less stress on each individual heaters and act as a redundant system. (had a 500W titanium heater failed on me and temperature dropped for like 10 deg F)
