So they are doing electrical work at my apartment, rewiring everything i think. Everything needed to be moved 3 feet from the wall. This is really testing my attitudes toward fishkeeping but no harm done yet since i have had all these guys for years. Tanks are 75g mbuna, 55g glass banger, 40g "community."

Would have been rad to know they were going to do this before i moved my tanks in. Would also be rad if they did this type of work between tenants. But i'm half way through the hardship, so thats that.

Power is cut all day tommorow, so the battery powered pumps come out. Good thing its hot here...

i'm staying sane for now, not sure about my girlfriend

i'm there with ya! has your apartment management ever said anything about you having so many tanks? like water damage liability or anything ?

Damn that's terrible dude. Love the last pic though, whole living room filled with tubs of fish. lol

I've been looking, the first question I ask if having a few tanks is okay? if they say no, then forget that particular place.

When we moved in i asked twice if there was any sort of limit, they said no but you are responsible for damage obviously. I'm on ground floor and have renters insurance.

Same here, they didn't care about the tank at all. I also had to move all my stuff away from the wall once as well. They decided to repaint my apartment after I moved in. :irked:

Sometimes tanks do crack and leak big time. My 50 gallon tank cracked about 3 feet long and 50 gallons of water was in the floor in less than 2 minutes.

My worst fear. I'm right above a restaurant, and my landlord would probably flip if he knew about all my tanks. I think if one were to leak I would pack all my stuff and run away.
