received EIGHT not ten because he sold them to others.
but hey...FREE right?:naughty::naughty::drool:
in baddish conditions.....:(
most look okay except for the fins.
but one guy has a piece of his gill plate missing.
and he also has a piece of meat or gill hanging from the bottom of his snout...
ones also really small....
was too afraid to put him with the big boys cause he was smaller than the tems' heads....
hes with the scomb for now.
heres the pics...
the pics really dont show their color well.
they look like those rapps 1st batch of kelberi.

Looks like the largest tems can eat them if they wanted to . . . you sure it's ok to keep them together? Those would be some dang expensive feeders . . .

no,seven of the kelberi cant be eaten by anything in the tank.
but the smallest guy in the last few pics is bite sized...

Wow........ really NICE. SO envy.

Why there are couple of them with 4 vertical bars??? SO RARE :naughty:
seen it once in this website
http://www.raubwelse.de/galerie/cichliden/c138.htm

They look completely different than the kelberi we got here.

Actually look a lot like those from Bahia Brazil that I saw before.

Wow... I am really impressed..... :headbang2:nilly:;):D:headbang2

thanks bro..yea,its odd.
some have 4 vertical bars.
and many of them have very weird looking bars.
theyre like,curvish?
like the kinda stripes tigers have.
hmmm....kelberi?
im still wondering...
they have some NICE spotting.
and some have very faded spangling on their body.
but no spots on lower caudal and ventral as far as i can see....
dont think they are pleiozona though...
colors differentish.
