The Last 48 have been rough...

48 hours ago we noticed a small patch of infection.. we've been battling a bacteria that has been attacking our fish every few days/week randomly in our big pool.... well our first sick/fatality was a retic rays about 4 weeks ago now... Kanaplex was working well in treating the gar and other tank-mates via soaking food... we found her hiding up by the heaters, thinking this strange I got a better look and such enough she had "the patches"... she wouldn't eat.. so we treated her area w/ a vile (treats 120gallons) she seemed to be making a turn for the better.... this morning we decided to QT her.. and moved her. went out to get more Kana... and this is what we found when we returned... She was 2yrs+ old now and was loving her new pool...

Thanks Granny.. funny but we have much more expensive fish I honestly would not lose sleep over losing... but this one is gonna hurt for awhile. And how fast the disease took over and killed... believe it or not last night before I treated her she looked much worse... she looked like she was taking a turn for the better. And oddly enough this all start happening when we stopped feeding so much live and started feeding pellets 90% of the past few weeks.

***! Feel so sorry for you. Finally someone had managed to keep them in a pond without jumping and then a stupid bacterial infection gets to it. There wasn't anything you could do.
