White spot has taken my loaches over the past 3 weeks I’ve been trying to save these poor idiots, I’ve had them for some time.. but now, they are no longer here.

It was a shame to watch them die… they were eating and everything still, but the last one has doped off..

What did you use as treatment?

Thats a shame. Loaches are quite sensitive. I have just had ich in my one tank, but after a week and a half it has claimed none of my fish, and all are looking better (less flashing etc. one very young pleco even had full on white spots, that have since dissappeared and has recovered almost completely). Part of the success is since i've had it before a couple of times unfortunately i caught the syptoms really early (aswell as knowing the fish's behaviour). Its a nasty disease, sorry bout your losses.

Sorry about your lost. I just got some 5 CL about 3 weeks ago and one of them already dropped off. It was the skinniest one, but I was hoping that it would fatten up.

sorry for the loss they were a nice size too sucks next time try seachem paraguard for treating loaches with ich worked many times for me

Sorry to hear about your loach. One of my all time favorites. What did you try treating them with? I have learnt that salt is actually the best for white spot or ich. Very sensitive to meds.
