So imagine if you will.... you are swimming around your 180 gallon abode. Life is good, you've just eaten a lovely pumpkin snack, your pleco is hiding under its log where it doesn't bother you and even the giant danios are keeping to them selves.....
Its a lovely Thanksgiving day.
When all of a sudden the uneaten portion of pumpkin in your tank leaps off the bottom of the tank and clobbers you right in the kisser!!!!
Ohhh the joys of having a kitten in the house!
I was only able to capture a portion of the story in pictures.
What you need to understand is that my tanks are too deep for me to reach the bottoms of them. So the food is stabbed with a fork (In this case it a piece of pumpkin) that is tied with fishing line to a nail that dangles out side the tank. The kitten discovered the nail and started swatting at it. The pumpkin began to dance in the tank. Poor Taco (my tilapia) took a few hits before he went off to the corner where you see him in these pictures. But the funniest part was that as the kitten stood there on its hind legs playing with the nail, his tail just a whipping around.... Roger Rabbit came over and pounced on his tail!
The poor kitten levitated 3' in the air!!!!! My laughter was loud enough to scare them both.t
