Hello! Just want to share a picture of an adult Uropterygius Micropterus (Tidepool Snake Moray Eel) with a length nearing 30cm (the max length of this species). I think compared to all other brackish/FW morays, this one is the most docile, least aggressive. Probably because it's amongst the smallest too.
The specimen that I have right now is not the one I had in the past (that one is smaller and I have given it away), this is a new one which a friend entrusted to me temporarily for observation. It behaves very nicely and does not disturb any of its tankmates, even mollies. So far it get along well with tilapia, tetraodon nigroviridis and some mollies (both the brackish and brackish/FW variations). It does showing interests on the live river shrimps that I put in the tank, but so far still content on eating pieces of frozen shrimps.
