I have heard tales of blind Plecos. Blind from attacks to the eyes, by cichlids. Most often african cichlids.

Has anyone ever seen "The Legendary Pleco", or heard of it? Please pass on your tale. Maybe you could even include a photo for us all. Let everyone be witness to "The Legend".

I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!

a planted tank with them and blind tetras (mexican cavefish) would be an amazing site.

Had a Salvini Cichlid take out the eyes of an 12" Albino Chocolate Pleco.. he healed up with some melafix and continued his cleaning ways, smashing into everything in the process.

I finally got sick of him knocking everything over and acting all silly, so a few months later I tossed him back in with the 'big boys' and said good luck.. Didn't last long.

Legendary Pleco got ate by a dog at our apartment too, it was funny.. He was too big to flush, so I tossed him over the fence... haha. Poor dog was so sick from rotten legendary pleco. :(

A guy braught a hudge pleco into the fish store I work at and said that his fish had eaten its eyes. The poor guy was almost in tears, so I told him that we could take it and every day I put a few algea wafers in his tank and he seems to find them
