ok i have a 6500k daylight and actinic 420 phosphor another words its a 50/50 bulb in my 55 gallon and i would like to start plants talls ones, small ones, bushy ones will this bulb work or what should i get. and can you tell exactly what the buld is called so i can order one? thanks. oh and will i need a new hood as mine is a single of course its nothing fancy. and whats that called so i can order one as i hear the bulb is half the battle to start your tank, and i want to make sure i start well and plain well too.

how do you do that ??? with my normal fish gravel vacuum ????

Yep, just don't worry about cleaning the gravel itself, just suck the stuff off the top for the most part.

how do you attach java fern to dirftwood before the roots get attached???? as i would like to grow some for my eel tank but want it to be either attached to a big *ss rock or my huge drift wood thanks
