Watching them grow everyday is a joy.
Can't wait for them to be big enough to go into the big tank!

I placed both in a clear base tank with white sand to condition their spots.
i.e. I do not want their base color to turn dark so fast and "eat" into the spots.
This is my thinking ... may or may not be true so don't take my word for it as many other Ray Gurus might think otherwise of this theory.
The pups will react differently on different days.
Sometimes the female "Grey" will turn dark base to nearly black.
Tongiht she decide to look like this.
Even the smaller male will turn to look greyish as well.

the one in the first 2 pics is crazy lookin!! thought i remembered these being some hybrid that ended up looking VERY close to bd's
