Hello,

I have checked the tank tonight and found that one of my spotted sd's has died. It was sever years old, but it's growth had been stunted due to 2 larger dollars (now deceased) taking most of the food. The other spotted SD bought at the time is doing well and growing. He she has doubled in size and is now almost 2 inches.

I am due to carry out a water change and test tomorrow, but I am quietly confident they will not be the cause.

It has turned into a double loss as I found the larger 5" spotted sd dead this morning. It has been feeding well and not being bullied. Water tests have home back fine with ph 6, nitrate & ammoning both being at nil. 1 small spotted sd remains, aloing with 3 larger SD. I may think about adding more fish next weekend. Pics to follow.

Sorry for your loss, I've had my Sd's for over 4 years. I just ensure they get a lot of spinach and kale leaves to supplement their diet.

Lovely Silverdollars, and sorry for your losses... please keep us updated!
