The lounge ruins MFK

Is there a way to block posts from the lounge showing up in the new post feed on the app and full site? I am tired of seeing stupid posts about football and voting and what you had for dinner dominating what I see on this site. I honestly don't care what you had for dinner or what music you're listening to. I came here to research aquatic life and participate in discussions related to that topic. This is after all called MonsterFISHkeepers.

you're a mean one mr grinch.

the reason you see the lounge so often in recent activities is because it's the most active sub forum on the site. i think most people who aren't interested have learned to ignore it or not click on those threads.

i actually met a long time mfk member a few weeks back that had NEVER ever known the lounge existed. if he can do it, you can do it

If you dont want to read the lounge thats fine, like you said, it is site for aquariumists. Not sure if you can block forums by category, but posting in the lounge about how the lounge is stupid isnt really helping with the lounges "stupidity" now is it?
 
No need to get snippy. Welcome to the internet buddy, nearly every forum has an off topic lounge like section. As far as I can tell there is no way to block a section so the only advice I can give is to simply deal with it.

I was simply asking if there is a way to block the posts from a forum from showing up.
