The Menace 1 month progress

I just took a couple photos of The Menace marking 1 month of progress.

The top photo was taken 1-9-2012 the day he came home and bottom 2 photos were taken today 2-9-2012.

He has grown a solid 1.5 inches from 2.5 to 4 inches since I got him.

Looking good, 1.5" is a great growth rate for a month. Can definitely tell he's fed good.
 
I just took these photos of the menace. I netted him out earlier to check out this white thing that developed on his right pec fin today. Maybe someone here can tell me what it is and if it will go away on its own.
He is officially 5 1/4 inches. I did a measurment while he was out of the tank.
His lower lip looks beat up. Maybe from digging or attacking my plecos ?

Bottom photo has all the physical ailments.

sure its nothing, just keep a close eye on them to assure they're not getting worse. Incredible growth, I would start mixing his diet with more variety so he is not picky @ all given that he has quite the appetite and be sure not to over feed him. Umbee's tend to eat eat eat and often need to be told when to stop rather than letting them choose ;)
 
He is already picky. He has to have jumbo sticks not standard size sticks.

Spits the bio gold and stares at worms.

I saw that weedemese special....NICE!!!!
 
with his belly looks like he likes to eat when he does, starve him onto other foods and I am sure he can't resist long :)
