yeah, we used to do that on AP and it was pretty cool. i would imagine it may be hard to police here though, and there may be bandwidth constraints if people start adding video, etc to such things (not sure what Lep plat's sig does in that regard, hahaha) --

You can narrow the limits down so there are no animated banners allowed, but still, having none at all saves even more bandwidth I suppose. Not worth trying to petition changes around here, generally.
