I fish UL all the time, bout all I do. I have never actually used these but they didnt seem that great to me. With UL you need a great drag. I currently use a symetre 500 and a sedona 500, they are both pretty good, especially for their size, i run 2lb on the sym and 4 on the sedona. My buddy has a quantum pti energy 10 that is a little larger, quite a bit heavier, but quantum has the greatest/most consistent drag in my opinion, He uses 4lb test on it when we go saltwater fishing and never breaks of, we catch snook, jack, and anything else that bites. Another key with UL is leader, you need a tough leader, tied on properly. Very important.

I've used it, and used it a lot. It's worked flawlessly, and the price point is great - that's a big plus for me.
