You should try taking a photo at night with a torch with the pumps turned off, it would probably make your photos alot clearer

It was a chance shot on my phone, the pond is coming out of it's winter set up and going into full summer mode, it's now almost 100 clear with everything running at full tilt, I'm going to try again at dusk with my decent camera.

20minutes waiting for it to come into the dark side of the pond, I got a shot of the small one, this is a rare sighting, it very rarely comes off the bottom, the patio flags are 60cm long for reference
