hi sorry about my english its so bad
i have a question . which its the most agressive piraña? i have natareri, striolaus .notatus and one elongatus all of my pirañas are intanks separate only specie per tank my question can i put toghether notatus and striolatus??? :D

Mexico is North America isn't it?

no you cant keep any member of the serrasalmus species together....the pygocentrus can be kept together....and there insn't one species that is the most aggressive it tends to be the fish personality itself.....my red is a finger chaser while others are skittish and dart into a corner when u turn the light on....everyone tends to say elong but it really depends on the fish

Hiya Sia, welcome to MFK! I hope you enjoy the site despite the occassional clowns.
Both notatus and striolatus are in the genus Serrasalmus and should not be shoaled, they kill each other just like the elongatus will. of the ones you listed only the natterrei can be kept as a group.
Very nice selection by the way.
As an aside I was wondering if you have access to the little Pike topminnows? I know they are found in a good portion of Mexico but I don't know if they are found in your area. They are the Belonesox belizanus and are among my favorite small fish, here is a picture in case the local name is different. Just a few more posts and you will be able to see the pictures.
Of the ones you have I have heard that the elongatus is a very aggressive feeding fish.
