Two days ago I removed my BGJD and Gold JD's fungused eggs. It did appear that a few had actually hatched but there were no wigglers that I could see. The pair has since been moved back into my community tank and a new breeding(hopefully lol) pair has taken their place. As I was watching the new pair doing their pre-spawning dance I noticed something really tiny and wiggly on top of the sand. It seems like I have a lone survivor! I know that the chances of this one little wiggler living are less than slim, but I had to try and save it. Right now I have it in a small container of tank water with a little air pump going. Hopefully the little guy makes it but if not at least I tried! I just thought it was pretty cool that I even spotted the little thing and wanted to share with you guys :)

Keep us updated. You have to give the wiggler a name.

Yay! good eye. been there before. hopefully he will make it :)keep an eye out maybe youll see more and more as time passes happened to me.

Lol I've just spent the last hour looking for more. So far I haven't found any other survivors. The crazy thing too is that after I moved the pair I did a huge water change/vac on the tank. It is really surprising that even the one wiggler survived!

Aww RIP lil guy. I'll pour some out for him.
