The most over filtered tank!!

I'm trying to get a head start on cycling my new tank that won't arrive for a couple weeks. The filters, however, are here already. I hooked them up to my 55gal to catch a little beneficial bacteria. So check out the Flowerhorn Jacuzzi.. powered by a FX5 and 2 Emperor 400's. According to the boxes, I have 1725 gph!! On a 55!! Complete water turn-over every 2 minutes! HAHAHA!

Be careful, because when you take the filters OFF of that tank, you might think it gets dirty LOL
 
I would not say the water is crystal clear; I can see a bit of haze. You would need to turn the water over every minute (60x) to clear it up..... only kidding LOL.

The haze cannot be filtered out by mechanical means. Hopefully you will get a healthy amount of bacteria established when you are ready to set up the new tank.
 
I thought the FX5 had to be hooked up with no slack in the lines to operate properly, it says that in the set up manual. Yours is doing fine?
 
A lot of filtration....um... a little overboard... :D
 
now thats some heavy duty filtration! i see ya got what you were waiting for. setting up on the 55 had me laughing. however thats like mad clear and pretty water. i love my fx5. now we need a fx5 forum/club lmaooooooo!!:ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL:
 
Using such an immense amount of filtration how much water do you change every week??
