Shots of the various builds over the last two years leading up to my VLN (very large nano). It started off in a 5 gallon Fluval Chi, in which I only had a longlure frogfish juvenile. The refugium on this this was very guerrilla aquarist, but I loved it nonetheless. She was about the size of my thumbnail when I got her, and 8" long when she died.
The second tank (of which I have almost now pictures was a 13 gallon. The lighting for this and the previous were three Ecoxotic Panorama Pro's. Everything small, and compact.
The final (current) tank is the Marineland 60 gallon rimless with a built-in overflow. We built the stand ourselves as the stock ones are highway robbery. Custom (HA!) refugium, with a 120 watt grow bulb, and not pictured are the protein skimmer, UV sterilizer, return and circulation pumps, etc... Lighting is sever of the Panorama Pro modules. Stock is now the two clowns, a two spot tang (who is very shy), and a talbot's damoisel. Also of course, various coral. Some of which were picked up at MACNA this weekend, and for your pleasure, two of my best shots from the show.
Thanks very much!
